Starting in 2017, the museum, in order to represent the entire navigation on inland waters, no longer contains only fishing boats but also another type of lake vessel, a pleasure craft such as the Sabatina 22, named after the lake Bracciano’s original name, Lago Sabatino. It was built in the 1930s by the brothers Eugenio and Giuseppe Cerocchi and Federico Zunini for local sailing races. This exemplar, owned to Commander Panini, with the typical straight-stemmed stern shape and a triangular sail very large relative to the hull, was built in marine plywood probably around the 1960s by Roberto Scanu. It can carry at most two people. Puo’ contenere al massimo due persone.
